Last November, I flew to Cebu, in the Philippines to see if it was true that
"Foreigners can invest in an island paradise" The realtor and the professional staff greeted me
and I had a nice tour of the Models in their Cebu office, then the next day flew out to see the Island.
Three days later I was satisfied and very happy that I could own some of this surfers paradise.
I payed my 1000$US down payment, and signed a contract and would agree to send the down payment on my property.
Our prices are going up "10%" every year, so it's a safe investment, I thought.
after 4 months of sending payments, I sent some emails inquiring to when I would receive my
contract, and perhaps a title--and therefore be able to refinance away from their in-house 10%.
This is where I soon learnt of how unprofessional the staff at Calicoan Ocean Villas are.
But don't listen to my opinion.

I'm sorry if i did'nt send yet the legal documents, I've been in
Calicaon Island and i just arrived here in cebu last night June 15,
2009. but i requested already your legal documents from the legal
department before i leave cebu.
I will report at the office tomorrow morning and I'm going to follow
up the legal departments with regards your legal documents so that i
can send it to you as soon as possible.
I will send to you also the summary of your payments.
